Members of St. James Lutheran and of St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Whidbey Island, WA, will join and journey to Taos, New Mexico to work on a Habitat for Humanity project there.  They will work to install appliances, roofing, sheet rock, do painting and insulation for much-needed housing.  They will enjoy work and worship together in a fascinating part of the country, and meet and mingle with local residents.  Cheer them on during the Sunday morning liturgy on September 14 and remember them in your thoughts and prayers.  They will return with sore muscles and many stories.  Many thanks to Kay Betton and Ann Fruechte for helping St. James to flex its muscle!
