St. James Book Group —
Tuesday, May 25th, 7:00pm via Zoom —
St. James Book Club meets the fourth Tuesday of the month. We’ve postponed Marilynne Robinson’s Gilead until June to give us more time to find copies. Meanwhile, we’ll read Muriel Barbery’s The Elegance of the Hedgehog, a “subtle novel of ideas” featuring the concierge of a Parisian apartment and a 12 year old resident. If you’d like to join us, contact Linda Rickert.
St. James Book Club meets on a monthly basis to discuss all kinds of books! In the past, we have read such titles as Bel Canto by Ann Patchett, Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, and Atonement by Ian McEwen. All are welcome to attend, nominate book selections, and participate in discussion!
