St. James Lutheran Church is located in downtown Portland on the corner of SW Park and Jefferson. The main office entrance is located on Park Ave., but an accessible entrance (with no stairs) is available around the corner on Jefferson, between St. James and the St. James Apartment Building. Ring the doorbell located on the black gate and someone will come open the door.

Street parking is free on Sundays until 1:00pm. Street parking after 1:00pm is $2.00/hr.
Public Transit
St. James is conveniently located at the convergence of many Trimet transit lines. The Portland Streetcar stops less than a block from the church. St. James is located two blocks from the Portland Transit Mall, which runs the (north/south) Green and Yellow MAX lines as well as nearly 30 different bus lines from all over the metro area. St. James is also located six blocks from the (east/west) Blue and Red MAX lines stops along Morrison and Yamhill Streets.
