The first in the 2012-13 series of Sunday afternoon Bach Cantata Vespers at downtown Portland’s historic St. James Lutheran Church will feature J.S. Bach’s Cantata 8 with flute, two oboes d’amore, and strings. The St. James Bach Choir and a professional orchestra are joined by soprano Christine Welch-Elder, tenor Les Green, and baritone Kevin Walsh (baritone). Parking and driving directions available here.
