THE JULY FIRST THURSDAY HAPPENS ON FIRST WEDNESDAY THIS YEAR! DON’T MISS IT!!!!
Since the Fourth of July falls on Thursday this year, Portland’s First Thursday has been changed to First Wednesday, July 3. The July show here at St James, featuring the work of Harriett Stevens, will open with an artist reception on Wednesday evening, July 3 from 5pm to 7pm. The artist group cordially invites you and your friends to visit our gallery and other exciting venues around town on what we hope will be a lovely summer evening.
Harriett works primarily with acrylics, with occasional forays into watercolor and oils. This show’s focus will feature how the selection of color influences her work, and highlights florals and landscapes.
Hope you can make in on the 3rd! Her work will be on display in the Pioneer chapel throughout July.
