News from the St. James Child Development Center:
We’ve had a wonderful start to the school year at the Child Development Center. We currently have 90 children enrolled in the program, with several more enrolling as we move through the fall. This year, classrooms are utilizing updated curriculum from Teaching Strategies. The curriculum is a research-based program that helps children meet each milestone in their development through intentional teaching experiences. Teachers introduce activities that promote social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language growth. We also partner with families to provide resources and activities to support learning at home. We’re looking forward to another year filled with love and learning at the CDC.
