Tuesday, January 29th, 6-9:00pm: CD Release Party at Vino Ventas (7836 SE Stark Street, Portland.)
A CD release party will be held at Vino Veritas, a wine bar in Portland. The recording, “Come Sunday”, was jointly produced by St. James Lutheran and St. Luke Episcopal churches to feature some of the artists featured at the jazz vespers at both churches. The Mike Horsfall Trio, with Laurent Nickel on bass and Brent Follis on drums, will perform at the release party, along with some of the guests heard on the CD, which includes Cheryl Alex, Paul Mazzio, Devon Phillips, Christopher Woitach, and John Moak. CDs are $20 each. Proceeds will be split between St. James and St. Luke.
