In 2012, Thrivent Builds Homes will help 142 families open a door into their new Habitat home … and into all the economic and societal benefits homeownership creates. Each and every home provides local volunteers with the opportunity to be a part of this life-changing event. A new project has just started in Portland, at 171st and SE Division, and Augustana Lutheran has invited all St. James members to join them for a Build Day on Saturday, June 23.
