Bach Cantata Vespers this coming Sunday, June 15th at 5:00pm. The final Bach Vespers of the season will feature Bach’s Trinity Sunday Cantata 194 (Most highly desired festival of joy) with three oboes, strings, choir and soloists. The Vesper is the opening event for the regional conference of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians. To be premiered is the new motet “Not To Us” by Carson Cooman commissioned by St. James to honor the 25th anniversary of Pastor Andersen’s ordination. Music begins at 4:50.
