The tenth anniversary of the “4X4” concert series will again be hosted by St. James. On four Fridays in August, there will be four free noon-time concerts of music for one piano, four hands. Each program will include French repertory to coordinate with the Impressionist show at the Portland Art Museum across Jefferson Street from the church. The concerts begin at 12:10pm. A free-will offering will be gladly accepted.
August 8th

David and Lauren Servias, recent music doctorate recipients, will make their Portland debut as a duet team.

 
August 15th

Angela Carlson and Becky Jeffers from the Oregon State University music faculty will play Debussy’s Petite Suite.

 
August 22nd

Timothy and Nancy LeRoi Nickel will play Debussy’s Six Epigraphs Antiques.

 
August 29th

Jill Timmons and John Strege, veteran Portland pianists, will join forces for their debut.
