NEWS FROM THE ST. JAMES CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER:
Spring is in the air at St. James CDC! We recently wrapped up our annual See's Candy Fundraiser. With the funds raised, we were able to purchase new cribs for the Infant/Mobile Center, new carpets, art supplies, and classroom materials. Fundraisers are an integral part of our program as tuition alone does not cover all costs associated with running a high quality center.
Children are enjoying the improving weather with walks and adventures out of the building in our beautiful city! The children are excited to begin going to the Farmers Market again weekly to purchase healthy treats to enjoy as a class. We are thankful that our wonderful downtown location affords us to venture out with ease.
Staff will be participating in In-Service Day in the coming month. During this time, teachers participate in a 2 hour training, and spend another 2 hours cleaning their classrooms.
Happy Spring!
